City and state voters didn’t take advantage of New York’s newly enacted early voting law, tallies show.

A measly 1.3 percent — or 60,110 — of the city’s 4.7 million registered voters cast early ballots from Oct. 26 through Nov. 3 ahead of Tuesday’s election.

Statewide the numbers weren’t much better as just 2 percent — or 256,000 people — voted early. (That’s out of 15 million people statewide! You do the math!)
