Veritas published a new video yesterday exposing ABC News. It led to a blizzard of media coverage and resulted in ABC suspending their own correspondent David Wright. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZG1v5EcwUI In the video, David Wright criticizes the network and calls himself a socialist. These are the kinds of things that journalists say in private, but they would never say in public. And that’s why it’s been receiving so much coverage by the mainstream media. ABC News issued the following statement:
Some people will be critics. But Project Veritas simply reports, with precision, what the public has a right to know the person actually said. You can have qualms with the aesthetics and visuals, but fundamentally the information is true, not false. And the media hates us for it. The Washington Post also published two other stories:
USA Today covered the story and wrote:
Lara Trump told Sean Hannity: “The voters are not becoming informed because of us. That is really scary to hear directly from this kind of person that is so deep within ABC.”
So, when someone tells you that Project Veritas “doctors” videos, just remind them: Project Veritas has never issued a retraction. Never lost a lawsuit. Our journalism is bullet-proof. Our journalism is held to a higher-standard than anyone else in media — and it’s a more accurate representation of what actually happened. Politico wrote that the video “was purportedly filmed.” Our video wasn’t drawn on an Etch a Sketch. It isn’t a reenactment. It was the person talking. We didn’t quote them — they spoke! This cutting-edge journalism isn’t just impact. It’s culture-shattering impact. These are just some of the examples of Project Veritas dominating the news. We publish stories that matter. We don’t write gossip columns or put our stories behind paywalls. Unlike Bob Woodward, our journalism doesn’t quote secondhand anonymous sources six months after the fact. Unlike the Washington Post, we don’t report things like: “There is no evidence that [he] did not say the things attributed to him.” Instead, Project Veritas simply reports people in their own words. That’s all we do. James Project Veritas Project Veritas Is Recognized As a Tax Exempt Organization Under Section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
