Camp Pendleton, C.A. – A Lyndonville Marine died after a helicopter crash Wednesday at Camp Pendleton.

Trevor Cook’s father David Cook said his son was the Huey crew chief who died in the crash.

Camp Pendleton also confirmed Cook died from his injuries and enlisted in 2004.

Trevor Cook, 25, graduated from Lyndonville High School in 2004.

Five others were injured when their helicopter crashed during a training exercise in a remote, mountainous area near San Diego.

Cook recently was married.
