PETITION FOR SHERIFF JOE’S RESIGNATION GETS THOUSANDS OF SIGNATURES

An online petition calling for the resignation of Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, AZ has collected 13,500 signatures so far. The petition, which can be found at www.change.org, is pushing for Sheriff Joe’s resignation because of his no-nonsense crackdown on illegal immigration in his county that has made him a favorite target of Obama’s open-borders Department of Justice.

Change.org describes itself as an online platform for social change. Its effort to force Sheriff Joe’s resignation comes after officials with the Citizens for a Better Arizona began pushing for the Board of Supervisors in Arpaio’s district to pass a resolution that seeks his ouster.

SURVEY SAYS LATINO VOTERS STICKING WITH OBAMA

Latino voters continue to strongly support Barack Obama and his leftist party despite the administration’s increased deportations, according to a survey released earlier this week by the Pew Hispanic Center. As Hispanics are the fastest-growing population group in the country, and a major voting bloc to boot, this is great news for Obamacrats across the country.

The survey also indicated that Latino registered voters favor Obama over GOP presidential hopefuls Mitt Romney or Texas Gov. Rick Perry by a margin of more than 2-to-1. The results are similar to the presidential election in 2008, when Obama got 67% of the Latino vote compared with 31% for Republican candidate Sen. John McCain.

I’m pretty sure that is why NYS has become a ‘sanctuary state’ when Cuomo too office…too many R’s in the legislature…
