TRUTH REVOLT: MSNBC Contributor: Chris Kyle Went on Racist Killing Sprees

Demand an on-air apology from MSNBC Contributor who called Chris Kyle “racist” and said he went on “killing sprees.”

On MSNBC’s Morning Joe on Thursday, NBC News foreign correspondent and frequent news contributor to MSNBC Ayman Mohyeldin discussed the movie “American Sniper.” During that discussion, he characterized the former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle’s missions in the Middle East as “killing sprees”:

A lot of stories about when he was back home in Texas. A lot of his own personal opinions about what he was doing in Iraq, how he viewed Iraqis, what some people described as his racist tendencies toward Iraqis and Muslims as he was going on some of these, you know, killing sprees in Iraq on assignment. I think there are issues.

Mohyeldi went on to repeat that “people” have described Kyle as racist in performing his duties as a sniper in Iraq. As the conversation continued, both Joe Scarborough and Willie Geist challenged the characterization of Kyle and defended the movie as not being “rah rah”, but not much was said about the specific “killing sprees” remark beyond Scarborough’s immediate, brief reply.
